MAXAM DURA Product Display Development

Design iteration study focused on visibility and production efficiency

About Project

The project focused on developing a compact POS stand for MAXAM DURA sealants that would deliver strong brand visibility with minimal material use.
We approached this as a quick iteration study, using 3D visualization to test several design variations before production.
Each version explored changes in structure, branding area, and product layout to improve efficiency and communication.

Our Role

  • 3D design and product stand visualization
  • Fast concept iteration for structural and visual optimization
  • Evaluation of branding layout, proportion, and production simplicity
  • Creation of photoreal renders for comparison and client decision

More About the Project

Even simple retail fixtures benefit from early visualization.
By comparing four quick iterations, we helped the client identify the best balance between cost, visibility, and ease of manufacture.
The process demonstrates how design and visualization can work together to reduce material use, shorten development time, and improve retail presence.

Design Development

Iteration 1 – Establishing the base structure

The first version explored scale, product capacity and branding area. It provided the visual and structural reference for the following refinements.

Iteration 2 – Improving structure and visibility

In the second version, we refined the frame and product spacing to make the display easier to produce and more visually balanced.
The goal was to keep the strong presence from the first design while simplifying construction.

Iteration 4 – Final selected version

After testing the refined proportions, we focused on reducing weight and visual clutter.
The goal was to reach a clean, production-ready solution that stayed bold and instantly readable.

Iteration 3 – Finding the right balance

This version combines all refinements into a clean, ready-to-produce solution. It delivers strong brand visibility, balanced structure, and the best ratio of material use to impact.

The final design achieved every project goal: clear presentation, simple construction and efficient use of materials.
Quick 3D iteration made it possible to reach the best solution without waste or delays.

A simple design challenge turned into a clear case of how visualization helps make faster and smarter production decisions.
